Kurent Carnival
Every year, Perutnina Ptuj supports the craziest party in Slovenia – Kurent Carnival of Ptuj. Every year, we, the organisers of Kurent Carnival in Ptuj, associated in the Kurent Consortium, including the City of Ptuj Municipality, Perutnina Ptuj and Terme Ptuj, we pay attention to both, the concept and the implementation of the traditional ethnological celebration of the farewell of the winter and coming of the springtime. Due to intensive cooperation of all involved and considerable investments, Kurent Carnival has grown out of the local proportions and transformed into an international event, which is significant from historic and custom aspects.
