Flatten the toast slices firmly with a rolling pin. If the toast starts to crumble, you can lightly spray it with water and warm it in the oven to soften it.
Trim off the crusts and spread with kajmak. Add the sausage and roll tightly.
Dip in beaten egg and breadcrumbs, then fry in oil until golden brown. For a lower-calorie version, you can also bake them in the oven (about 15–20 minutes at 200°C) or cook them in an air fryer.
