Chicken in pepper sauce with bell peppers and rice

Preparation process

  1. Sauce: Mix all sauce ingredients into a smooth, creamy sauce.

  2. Meat: Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces.

  3. Vegetables: Chop the onion and bell peppers into pieces.

  4. Rice: Bring water to a boil, add salt, then add the rice. Cover with a lid and cook according to the package instructions, usually about 10–12 minutes.

  5. Sautéing: Heat oil in a pan. Add the onion and sauté for about 2 minutes. Add the chicken, stir, and cook for about 5 minutes until the meat turns completely white. Add the bell peppers, mix, and sauté for another 5 minutes.

  6. Dish: Pour the sauce over the meat and vegetables, stir, and cook for a few minutes until the sauce slightly thickens and coats everything nicely.

  7. Serving: Serve the rice on a plate, pour the sauce with chicken and vegetables next to it, sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped parsley, and serve.
