Let's cook festive: Chicken steaks with crispy cornflakes and a refreshing French salad!

Preparation process

  1. First, prepare the salad. First, finely chop all the vegetables. Add the eggs and sour cream to a blender. Mix in the sour cream and mayonnaise with a spoon. Add the prepared vegetables, dressing, vinegar, salt and pepper to a bowl. Stir and season to taste with salt, pepper and vinegar. Cover and leave the salad to soak in while you prepare the steaks.

  2. Crush the corn flakes.

  3. Add the flakes to one plate, the flour to another, and whisk the eggs in a third. Season the steaks with salt and pepper and add the paprika powder. Knead into the meat.

  4. Roll the steaks in the flour, then in the eggs and finally in the cornflakes. Place them on baking paper. Spray the steaks with butter or oil.

  5. Bake on the grill at 220 degrees for 10-12 minutes until nicely golden brown. Or, of course, you can fry them if you prefer.

  6. Serve with French salad.
